Who publishes this site
CSV Géant is published by Rayane Deramchia, an individual based in France. Contact: deramchiarayane@gmail.com. Full legal information (host, personal data) is in the legal notice (in French).
The site offers a tool that opens, filters, deduplicates, sorts and splits CSV files inside your browser, without uploading them, free up to 100,000 exported rows per operation, plus practical guides about large CSV files. A €29 Pro licence, sold by Gumroad, removes that limit.
How the content is made
The tool's code and the site's text (home page, guides, this page) are written with the help of artificial intelligence tools, notably Claude, by Anthropic, under the publisher's responsibility.
Before publication, they are checked as follows:
- Automated tests: 51 tests cover CSV parsing (quotes, line breaks inside quotes, UTF-8, Windows-1252 and UTF-16 encodings), filtering, deduplication, sorting, splitting, licence checks and page consistency (links, titles, languages, sitemap).
- Real browser runs: an end-to-end test opens the site in Chrome, generates and processes a file, compares the number of exported rows with the expected number and checks every output file (UTF-8 marker, header row, column count).
- Real measurements: the sizes and timings shown (for example a 2.2 GB file, 22 million rows, counted in 16 to 23 s) were measured with these tests, in Chrome 154 on Windows 11 with 16 GB of memory. They depend on the machine.
- Excel limits: the figures quoted (1,048,576 rows per worksheet, CSV UTF-8 format) are checked against Microsoft's official documentation.
No rating, review or user count is made up on this site.
